The North Carolina Node joined the Clinical Trials Network in January 2001. This node's CTP programs, which include the major providers of treatment in North Carolina, serve more than 20,000 financially, culturally and ethnically diverse clients located in rural and urban settings. The programs include a therapeutic community, area mental health centers, private outpatient agencies, and regional residential addiction treatment centers. Treatments provided encompass a wide range of therapies, both behavioral and pharmacologic, for families, adolescents, and adults. This node's involvement with the CTN ended in 2007.
