Honors & Awards:

  • Washington State Public Health Leadership Award, for his extensive work in drug abuse epidemiology and prevention of opioid overdose. The award was presented by Washington Secretary of Health John Wiesman presented the award on Oct. 7, acknowledging Banta-Green as ďa leader who turns data into action."
