Since 1994 Dr. Hatch-Maillette has collaborated on and overseen research projects focusing on substance abuse treatment, HIV risk reduction, gender-specific treatment, and violence risk assessment. Her clinical work has specialized in the treatment of drug and alcohol addictions and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In addition to her work at the UW, she is also a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Seattle.
