Sharon Garrett has worked as a research coordinator and consultant on a number of ADAI projects since 1997. She is currently the National Project Director on the Stimulant Abuser Groups to Engage in 12-Step (STAGE-12) study within the NIDA Clinical Trials Network. She is also the local project director for CTN 0044: Web-Delivery of Evidence-Based, Psychosocial Treatment for Substance Use Disorders and CTN 0048: Cocaine Use Reduction with Buprenorphine (CURB). Prior to coming to ADAI, she was the Coordinator and Interim Director for North Seattle Community College Women's Center, and an investigator for the Seattle/King County Health Department's RAVEN study which looked at behavior and the spread of infectious diseases such as HIV, hepatitis, HTLV, and herpes.
