Michelle Hansten Ingalsbe has worked as a Research Coordinator and Consultant on a variety of ADAI projects since 1995. She is currently a Co-Project Director for CTN 0048: Cocaine Use Reduction with Buprenorphine (CURB) within the NIDA Clinical Trials Network. Previously, she served as local Project Director for a variety of ADAI and VA projects, such as the ADATSA Treatment Outcome Evaluation (Project STOP), Combining Medications and Behavioral Interventions for Alcoholism (COMBINE Study), Effectiveness of Contingency Management in VA Addictions Treatment (REAP Study), and the Computer Assessment of Simulated Patient Interviews Study (CASPI).

Prior to coming to ADAI, Michelle worked as a Chemical Dependency Counselor at the Whitman County Alcohol Center and as a Case Manager for the Homeless Mentally Ill/Substance-Abusing population in Everett, WA.
