Description: The Community Tobacco Cessation Partnership provides free trainings for providers on the Best Practice Guidelines in Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence as defined by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Organizations within the Partnership serve low income, Medicaid, and uninsured or underinsured communities. These groups have been shown to have the highest prevalence of smoking in King County, yet may have limited access to cessation services. Ongoing support can include technical assistance, and cessation education materials.
