ADAI Library Catalog Multi-Search

Multi-Search lets you search all ADAI catalogs at once: Books, Articles, Videos, and Links. Your results will shown in one list, sorted by author name within each resource type. Searching each catalog separately (at left) offers additional search and display options not available in Multi-Search and may yield a greater number of relevant hits; however, the databases being searched are the same.

Results are sorted with the newest items listed first (except for Links, which are sorted alphabetically).

Search Tips & Examples
  • Enter keywords or phrases in quotes. You can also select exact terms from the Browse Index.
  • Within a search box use:

    / = OR
    & = AND
    ! = NOT
    * = wildcard

  • Physiotherapy / physical therapy
  • Ethics & nursing
  • Musc* (to find muscle, muscles, muscular or musculoskeletal)
  • < 2005 (items before 2005)
    > 2005 (items after 2001)
    = 2005 (items in 2001)
    2000:2005 (items btn 2000-2005)
